Motorcycle Transport – Terms & Conditions
- Definitions
- “Company” means Euromoto Transport.
- “Customer” means the person or organisation booking the transport service.
- “Motorcycle” includes motorcycles, scooters, trikes, and similar powered two- or three-wheeled vehicles.
- “Service” means the collection, transport, storage (if applicable), and delivery of the Motorcycle.
- Acceptance of Terms
By booking or using our Services, the Customer agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These Terms override any conflicting terms proposed by the Customer unless agreed in writing by the Company.
- Booking & Payment
- All bookings are subject to availability.
- Prices quoted are based on information provided by the Customer (including location, motorcycle condition, size, and accessibility).
- Full or part payment may be required in advance.
- The Company reserves the right to cancel a booking if payment is not received as agreed.
- Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before collection may be refunded, less any administrative costs.
- Cancellations within 48 hours may still be subject to a cancellation charge.
- No refund will be given where the Company is unable to collect or deliver due to inaccurate information provided by the Customer.
- Motorcycle Condition & Preparation
The Customer must ensure that:
- The Motorcycle is accurately described at the time of booking.
- The Motorcycle is safe to handle (unless declared as non-runner).
- Alarms are disabled or instructions provided.
- Loose accessories (e.g. luggage, sat-navs) are removed prior to collection.
The Company accepts no liability for loss or damage to unsecured accessories.
- Non-Running or Modified Motorcycles
- Motorcycles that are non-running, damaged, or heavily modified must be declared in advance.
- Additional charges may apply.
- The Company reserves the right to refuse transport if the Motorcycle differs materially from the description provided.
- Collection & Delivery
- Collection and delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.
- The Customer (or authorised representative) must be present to hand over and receive the Motorcycle unless otherwise agreed.
- If access is restricted or the Customer is unavailable, additional charges may apply.
- Inspection & Condition Reports
- The Motorcycle should be inspected at collection and delivery.
- Any visible damage must be noted at delivery and reported immediately.
- Claims for damage not reported at delivery may not be accepted.
- Liability & Insurance
- The Company holds goods-in-transit insurance up to £20,000 per Motorcycle unless otherwise stated.
- The Company is not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage
- Normal wear and tear
- Mechanical or electrical failure
- Indirect or consequential loss (e.g. loss of earnings)
Liability is limited to the lesser of repair cost or the Motorcycle’s market value.
- Delays & Force Majeure
The Company is not liable for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including (but not limited to) weather conditions, traffic incidents, breakdowns, or acts of God.
- Storage
- If a Motorcycle cannot be delivered due to Customer fault, storage charges may apply.
- Motorcycles left uncollected for extended periods may be subject to disposal in accordance with applicable law.
- Customer Property
The Company is not responsible for personal items left on or with the Motorcycle.
- Subcontracting
The Company may subcontract all or part of the Service while remaining responsible for compliance with these Terms.
- Complaints
Complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days of delivery. The Company will aim to resolve complaints promptly and fairly.
- Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of [Scotland, England & Wales / your jurisdiction], and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
